Japanese Ironmaking to invest $300 million in U.S. steel
Japan Iron Manufacturing announced on the 25th that it will invest about US$300 million in two factories of the US Steel Company as part of the US$11 billion investment promised by Japan Iron Manufacturing to US Steel. Japan Iron and US Steel previously announced on June 18 that they have completed historic cooperation. Japan Iron and US Steel will make about $11 billion in new investments in US Steel by 2028.
