China's industrial added value above designated size increased by 6.1% year-on-year in the first quarter

In March, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size actually increased by 5.7% year-on-year (the added value growth rate is the actual growth rate after deducting price factors). From a month-on-month perspective, in March, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 0.28% compared with the previous month. From January to March, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 6.1% year-on-year.
Divided into three categories, in March, the added value of the mining industry increased by 5.7% year-on-year, the manufacturing industry increased by 6.0%, and the electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industry increased by 3.5%.
In terms of economic types, in March, the added value of state-controlled enterprises increased by 5.9% year-on-year; joint-stock enterprises increased by 6.2%; foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises increased by 3.7%; private enterprises increased by 4.0%.
In terms of industries, in March, the added value of 30 of the 41 major industries maintained year-on-year growth. Among them, the coal mining and washing industry increased by 5.3%, the oil and natural gas mining industry increased by 9.4%, the agricultural and sideline food processing industry increased by 8.0%, the wine, beverage and refined tea manufacturing industry increased by 2.4%, the textile industry increased by 1.7%, the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 9.0%, the non-metallic mineral products industry decreased by 5.5%, the ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 1.7%, and the non-ferrous metal smelting and processing industry increased by 1.7%. The rolling processing industry remained flat year-on-year, with general equipment manufacturing growing by 6.3%, special equipment manufacturing growing by 6.2%, automobile manufacturing growing by 7.5%, railway, shipbuilding, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing growing by 13.3%, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing growing by 5.4%, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing growing by 12.5%, and electricity, heat production and supply growing by 4.2%.
In terms of products, in March, the output of 329 of the 626 products in industries above designated size increased year-on-year. Among them, 130.98 million tons of steel, a decrease of 2.3% year-on-year; 123.1 million tons of cement, a decrease of 21.0%; 7.07 million tons of ten non-ferrous metals, an increase of 2.2%; 3.64 million tons of ethylene, an increase of 6.8%; automobiles There were 3.067 million vehicles, down 0.1%, including 1.336 million new energy vehicles, up 1.2%; power generation was 802.5 billion kilowatt hours, up 1.4%; crude oil processing volume was 61.67 million tons, down 2.2%.
In March, the product sales rate of industrial enterprises above designated size was 93.8%, a year-on-year increase of 0.7 percentage points; industrial enterprises above designated size achieved an export delivery value of 1.458 billion yuan, a nominal increase of 8.7% year-on-year.
