1. Export of steel plates and bars
In February 2026, China exported 4.63 million tons of steel plates, a year-on-year decrease of 12.6%; from January to February, the cumulative exports were 9.33 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14.5%.
In February, China exported 1.19 million tons of steel bars, a year-on-year decrease of 7.7%; from January to February, China exported a total of 2.32 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.9%.
2. Main exports of mechanical and electrical products:
In February, China exported 860,000 machine tools, a year-on-year increase of 18.2%. In the first two months of 2026, a total of 1.78 million machine tools were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 22.1%.
In February, China exported 16,429 tractors, a year-on-year increase of 38.8%. In the first two months of 2026, a total of 35,751 tractors were exported, a year-on-year increase of 29.8%.
3. Car import and export
In February 2026, China exported 740,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 75.1%; from January to February, China exported a total of 1.53 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 57.9%.
In February, China imported 30,000 cars, a year-on-year decrease of 11.6%; from January to February, China imported a total of 70,000 cars, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%.
4. Ship import and export
In February, 408 ships were exported, a year-on-year increase of 35.5%; from January to February, a total of 930 ships were exported, a year-on-year increase of 9.2%.
In February, 576 ships were imported, a year-on-year decrease of 1.2%; from January to February, a total of 1,027 ships were imported, a year-on-year decrease of 25.5%.
5. Cement export
In February 2026, China exported 1.39 million tons of cement and cement clinker, a year-on-year increase of 241.9%; from January to February, the cumulative exports were 3.05 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 296.3%.
6. Aluminum import and export
In February 2026, China exported 430,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, a year-on-year increase of 16.7%; from January to February, China exported a total of 970,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%.
In February, China exported 150,000 tons of alumina, a year-on-year decrease of 29.4%; from January to February, China exported a total of 330,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17.4%.
In February, China imported 290,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, a year-on-year decrease of 10.0%; from January to February, China imported a total of 600,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.4%.
In February, China imported 16.95 million tons of aluminum ores and concentrates, a year-on-year increase of 18.1%; from January to February, China imported a total of 36.21 million tons of aluminum ores and concentrates, a year-on-year increase of 18.7%.
