1. Steel, crude steel
From January to February 2026, China's pig iron production was 137.7 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.7%; crude steel production was 160.34 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6%; steel production was 221.19 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.1%.
2. Car
From January to February, automobile production was 4.024 million units, a decrease of 9.9%, of which 1.604 million new energy vehicles were produced, a decrease of 13.7%.
3. Cement
Cement output from January to February was 178 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%.
4. Non-ferrous metals
From January to February, the added value of the nonferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 3.9% year-on-year. The output of ten non-ferrous metals was 13.42 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%. Among them, the output of electrolytic aluminum from January to February was 7.53 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.0%.
5. Raw coal, crude oil, natural gas
The decline in raw coal production narrowed. From January to February, the output of industrial raw coal above designated size was 760 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%, and the decline was 0.7 percentage points narrower than that in December 2025; the average daily output was 12.93 million tons.
Crude oil production turned from decline to increase. From January to February, the industrial crude oil production above designated size was 35.73 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%, and a decrease of 0.6% in December 2025; the average daily production was 606,000 tons.
Crude oil processing maintains growth. From January to February, the processing volume of industrial crude oil above designated size was 122.63 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%; the average daily processing volume was 2.079 million tons.
Natural gas production has grown steadily. From January to February, the output of industrial natural gas above designated size was 44.6 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%; the average daily output was 760 million cubic meters.

From January to February, the industrial power generation above designated size was 1,571.8 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%, and the growth rate was 4.0 percentage points faster than that in December 2025; the average daily power generation was 26.64 billion kilowatt-hours.
