Data from the China Iron and Steel Industry Association shows that in December 2025, China produced 68.18 million tons of crude steel, a year-on-year decrease of 10.3%, and a daily output of 2.1994 million tons/day, a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%; it produced 60.72 million tons of pig iron, a year-on-year decrease of 9.9%, and a daily output of 1.9587 million tons/day, a year-on-year decrease of 5.7%; it produced 115.31 million tons of steel, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%.
