China's excavator sales in 2025 will be 235,257 units, a year-on-year increase of 17%

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major excavator manufacturing companies, 23,095 excavators of various types were sold in December 2025, a year-on-year increase of 19.2%. Among them, domestic sales volume was 10,331 units, a year-on-year increase of 10.9%; export volume was 12,764 units, a year-on-year increase of 26.9%.
In 2025, a total of 235,257 excavators will be sold, a year-on-year increase of 17%; of which domestic sales will be 118,518 units, a year-on-year increase of 17.9%; exports will be 116,739 units, a year-on-year increase of 16.1%.
In December 2025, 39 electric excavators were sold (11 units below 6 tons, 7 units from 6 to 10 tons, 2 units from 10 to 18.5 tons, 19 units from 18.5 to 28.5 tons, 1 unit from 28.5 to 40 tons, 1 unit from 40 tons and above).

Among them, domestic sales volume was 5,291 units, a year-on-year increase of 17.6%; export volume was 6,945 units, a year-on-year increase of 41.5%.
In 2025, a total of 128,067 loaders of various types will be sold, a year-on-year increase of 18.4%. Among them, domestic sales were 66,330 units, a year-on-year increase of 22.1%; exports were 61,737 units, a year-on-year increase of 14.6%.
In December 2025, 2,722 electric loaders were sold (72 units under 3 tons, 181 units at 3 tons, 10 units at 4 tons, 1,499 units at 5 tons, 820 units at 6 tons, 129 units at 7 tons, 3 units at 8 tons, 3 units at more than 8 tons, 3 skid steer loaders, and 2 backhoe loaders).
