In the first three quarters, China's crude steel output was 746.25 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.9%.
Data from the National Bureau of Statistics of China show that in September 2025, China's crude steel output was 73.49 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.6%; pig iron output was 66.05 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.4%; steel output was 124.21 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%.
From January to September, China's crude steel output was 746.25 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.9%; pig iron output was 645.86 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.1%; steel output was 1,103.85 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.4%.
