From January to September, China’s automobile sales reached 24.363 million units, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%

We learned from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers that in the first nine months of this year, many economic indicators of China's automobile industry achieved double-digit growth.

The latest data shows thatFrom January to September, China's automobile production reached 24.333 million units and sales reached 24.363 million units, a year-on-year increase of 13.3% and 12.9% respectively.. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 11 million units, with year-on-year growth exceeding 30%. The sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 46.1% of the total sales of new automobiles.

In terms of exports, from January to September, 4.95 million vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 14.8%. Among them, the export of new energy vehicles performed well, with 1.758 million units exported, a year-on-year increase of 89.4%.

The relevant person in charge of the China Automobile Dealers Association said that from the perspective of consumer terminals, the retail sales of new energy vehicles maintained a rapid growth of 24.4% in the first nine months of this year, and the retail penetration rate in September has reached 57.8%.
