Quick report on sales of major products in China's construction machinery industry from January to July 2025

excavator

According to statistics from the major excavator manufacturing companies of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 17,138 excavators of various types were sold in July 2025, an increase of 25.2% year-on-year. Among them, China's domestic sales volume was 7,306 units, an increase of 17.2% year-on-year; export volume was 9,832 units, an increase of 31.9% year-on-year.

From January to July 2025, a total of 137,658 excavators were sold, an increase of 17.8% year-on-year. Among them, China's domestic sales volume was 72,943 units, a year-on-year increase of 22.3%; exports of 64,715 units, a year-on-year increase of 13%.

In July 2025, 9 electric excavators were sold (2 units below 6 tons, 1 unit of 6 to 10 tons, 4 units of 18.5 to 28.5 tons, and 2 units of 28.5 to 40 tons).

Loader

According to statistics from major loader manufacturing companies of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 9,000 loaders of various types were sold in July 2025, an increase of 7.41% year-on-year. Among them, domestic sales volume was 4,549 units, an increase of 2.48% year-on-year; export volume was 4,451 units, an increase of 13% year-on-year.

From January to July 2025, a total of 73,769 loaders of various types were sold, an increase of 12.8% year-on-year. Among them, domestic sales volume was 40,171 units, an increase of 20.4% year-on-year; export volume was 33,598 units, an increase of 4.85% year-on-year.

In July 2025, 2,391 electric loaders were sold (18 units below 3 tons, 88 units at 3 tons, 1 unit at 4 tons, 1,501 units at 5 tons, 733 units at 6 tons, 44 units at 7 tons, 1 unit at 8 tons, 1 unit at 8 tons, and 4 skid steer loaders).

Grader

According to statistics from major grader manufacturing companies of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 624 graders of various types were sold in July 2025, an increase of 1.96% year-on-year, of which 97 were sold in China, an increase of 7.78% year-on-year; and 527 were exported, an increase of 0.96% year-on-year.

From January to July 2025, a total of 4,967 graders were sold, an increase of 8.26% year-on-year; of which 915 were sold domestically, an increase of 36% year-on-year; and 4,052 were exported, an increase of 3.5% year-on-year.

Car crane

According to statistics from major automobile crane manufacturing companies of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 1,358 automobile cranes of various types were sold in July 2025, an increase of 9.6% year-on-year, of which 673 domestic sales were 6.83% year-on-year; and 685 exports were 685 units, an increase of 12.5% year-on-year.

From January to July 2025, a total of 12,110 car cranes were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 6.68%; of which 6,755 units were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 11.3%; 5,355 units were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 0.11%.

Crawler crane

According to statistics from major crawler crane manufacturing companies of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 241 crawler cranes of various types were sold in July 2025, a year-on-year increase of 57.5%, of which 62 domestic sales were sold, a year-on-year increase of 72.2%; and 179 exports were sold, a year-on-year increase of 53%.

From January to July 2025, a total of 1,807 crawler cranes were sold, an increase of 13.1% year-on-year; of which 556 were sold domestically, an increase of 8.38% year-on-year; and 1,251 were exported, an increase of 15.4% year-on-year.

Car crane

According to statistics from the major manufacturing companies of truck-mounted cranes in China Association of Engineering Machinery Industry, 1,787 truck-mounted cranes of various types were sold in July 2025, an increase of 9.1% year-on-year, of which 1,440 domestic sales were 9.34% year-on-year; and 347 exports were 8.1% year-on-year.

From January to July 2025, a total of 15,207 cranes were sold, an increase of 3.3% year-on-year; of which 11,845 units were sold, a decrease of 1.5% year-on-year; 3,362 units were exported, a increase of 24.7% year-on-year.

Tower crane

According to statistics from major tower crane manufacturing companies of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 410 tower cranes of various types were sold in July 2025, a year-on-year decrease of 26.9%, of which 222 units were sold in China, a year-on-year decrease of 42.5%; exports were 188 units, a year-on-year increase of 7.43%.

From January to July 2025, a total of 3,181 tower cranes were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 36.8%; of which 1,717 were sold domestically, a year-on-year decrease of 56%; and 1,464 were exported, a year-on-year increase of 30%.

Industrial Vehicles

According to statistics from the major forklift manufacturing companies of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 118,605 forklifts of various types were sold in July 2025, an increase of 14.4% year-on-year. Among them, domestic sales volume was 69,700 units, an increase of 14.3% year-on-year; export volume was 48,905 units, an increase of 14.5% year-on-year.

From January to July 2025, a total of 857,939 forklifts were sold, an increase of 12% year-on-year; of which 546,082 units were sold, an increase of 10.4% year-on-year; and 311,857 units were exported, an increase of 15.1% year-on-year.

In July 2025, a total of 45,147 forklifts sold without electric pedestrian warehousing vehicles, an increase of 5.85% year-on-year. Among them, domestic sales volume was 28,037 units, an increase of 4.68% year-on-year; export volume was 17,110 units, an increase of 7.84% year-on-year.

roller

According to statistics from major road roller manufacturers of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 1,410 rollers of various types were sold in July 2025, an increase of 23.8% year-on-year, of which 544 were sold in China, an increase of 24.2% year-on-year; and 866 units were exported, an increase of 23.5% year-on-year.

From January to July 2025, a total of 10,860 road rollers were sold, an increase of 21.6% year-on-year; of which 4,149 domestic sales were sold, an increase of 16.5% year-on-year; and 6,711 units were exported, an increase of 25% year-on-year.

Paver

According to statistics from major paver manufacturing companies of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 109 paver types were sold in July 2025, an increase of 11.2% year-on-year, of which 84 were sold in China, an increase of 75% year-on-year; 25 were exported, a decrease of 50% year-on-year.

From January to July 2025, a total of 999 pavers were sold, an increase of 35.2% year-on-year; of which 736 units were sold, an increase of 44.6% year-on-year; and 263 units were exported, an increase of 14.3% year-on-year.

Lifting work platform

According to statistics from major manufacturing companies of lifting and lowering work platforms in the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 13,559 lifting and lowering work platforms of various types were sold in July 2025, a year-on-year decrease of 38.3%, of which 5,098 were sold in China, a year-on-year decrease of 51.4%; and 8,461 exports, a year-on-year decrease of 26.3%.

From January to July 2025, a total of 106,055 lifting and lowering platforms were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 31.8%; of which 41,794 domestic sales were 47.7% year-on-year; 64,261 units were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 14.9%.

Aerial work vehicle

According to statistics from major manufacturing companies of aerial vehicle in the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 399 aerial vehicle of various types were sold in July 2025, an increase of 97.5% year-on-year, of which 392 domestic sales were 99% year-on-year; 7 exports were 7 units, an increase of 40% year-on-year.

From January to July 2025, a total of 2,844 aerial vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 34.6%; of which 2,704 domestic sales were sold, a year-on-year increase of 32.2%; and 140 units were exported, a year-on-year increase of 109%.
