China's steel plate and bar exports in the first half of 2025
The latest data from the General Administration of Customs of China shows that in June 2025, China exported 5.93 million tons of steel plates, an increase of 2.1% year-on-year; the cumulative exports from January to June were 36.32 million tons, a decrease of 0.1% year-on-year.
In June, China exported 1.52 million tons of steel bars, an increase of 45.5% year-on-year; from January to June, a total of 9.03 million tons, an increase of 48.7% year-on-year.
