From January to June 2025, the sales of excavators and loaders in China increased by over 13%

1. Excavator

According to statistics from major excavator manufacturing companies of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 18,804 excavators of various types were sold in June 2025, an increase of 13.3% year-on-year. Among them, sales in China were 8,136 units, an increase of 6.2% year-on-year; exports were 10,668 units, an increase of 19.3% year-on-year.

From January to June 2025, a total of 120,520 excavators were sold, an increase of 16.8% year-on-year; of which 65,637 were sold in China, an increase of 22.9% year-on-year; 54,883 were exported, an increase of 10.2% year-on-year.

In June 2025, 27 electric excavators were sold (11 units below 6 tons, 4 units of 10 to 18.5 tons, and 12 units of 18.5 to 28.5 tons).

2. Loader

According to statistics from major loader manufacturing companies of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 12,014 loaders of various types were sold in June 2025, an increase of 11.3% year-on-year. Among them, sales in China were 6,015 units, an increase of 13.6% year-on-year; exports were 5,999 units, an increase of 9.11% year-on-year.

From January to June 2025, a total of 64,769 loaders of various types were sold, an increase of 13.6% year-on-year. Among them, sales in China were 35,622 units, an increase of 23.2% year-on-year; exports were 29,147 units, an increase of 3.71% year-on-year.

In June 2025, 3,049 electric loaders were sold (35 units below 3 tons, 111 units 3 tons, 1,894 units 5 tons, 902 units 6 tons, 92 units 7 tons, 4 units 8 tons, 8 units above 8 tons, and 3 skid steer loaders).
