    According to the statistical data of the World Steel Association, in February 2025, the crude steel production of 69 countries/regions included in the World Steel Association's statistics reached 144.7 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.4%. In February 2025, Africa's crude steel production was 1.9 million metric tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.6%; Asia and Oceania's crude steel production was 107.3 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.6%; the European Union (27 countries)' crude steel production was 10.1 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.1%; other European countries' crude steel production was 3.3 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.7%; the Middle East's crude steel production was 3.7 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11.5%; North America's crude steel production was 8.2 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 6.3%; the crude steel production of Russia and other CIS countries + Ukraine was 6.7 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.9%; South America's crude steel production was 3.4 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.2%.
    In February 2025, China's estimated crude steel production was 78.92 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.3%; India's crude steel production was 12.7 million metric tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%; Japan's crude steel production was 6.4 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.5%; the United States' crude steel production was 6 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.0%; Russia's estimated crude steel production was 5.8 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.4%; South Korea's crude steel production was 5.2 million metric tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.7%; Turkey's crude steel production was 2.9 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%; Brazil's crude steel production was 2.7 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.6%; Germany's crude steel production was 2.7 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13.5%; Iran's crude steel production was 1.7 million metric tons, a year-on-year decrease of 21.8%.
